Todays awesome playable Google Doodle is in celebration of Robert Moog’s 78th birthday!

I’m a huge fan of music, I play bass, guitar, and also create terrible dance/techno tunes using FLStudio. Music is a big part of my life and I’m really pleased that Google recognises a pioneer in the music biz!

Robert Moog died in 2005 so unfortunately he’s not around to celebrate his birthday and experience the playable Google doodle.
He invented the first keyboard controlled Moog Synthesiser in the late 60’s but the first voltage controlled analog synth was created in the early 1950s and since then Moog has been a big name in the electronic music industry.

Fun Fact: You’d think that you’d pronounce Moog like a cows “moo” with a ‘G’ at the end but it actually pronounced like you’d pronounce “Vogue”.
