I recently touched upon the Eurogamer Expo earlier in the week and since then a few more games have been announced as well as some more developer sessions.
Dust 514 was one of the games announced today (August 23rd) – Dust 514 is CCP’s upcoming free-to-play first-person shooter for PlayStation 3 that’s currently in closed beta, but the Eurogamer Expo will give attendees a chance to go hands-on with it and get a feel for the action. Also today Criterion also announced that they’ll be holding a developers session to present Need for Speed: Most Wanted.
Here’s a short snippet from the Press Release:
Developers Matt Webster and Steve Cuss will be on stage on the afternoon of Friday 28th September to show Most Wanted in action, talk about changes to the revolutionary Autolog social gaming system and take questions from the audience.
Yesterday’s announcement included “A world first hands on experience of Company of Heroes 2 at Eurogamer Expo” too which is going to be awesome to get a hold of and not only that, they also announced a developers session on Saturday (29th September). Here’s a snippet from the Press Release:
Not only that, but developer Relic Entertainment will be taking to the developer session stage on Saturday 29th September to showcase more of the game. Everyone who plays the game at the show or views the developer session will also [get/see] a surprise gift.
I’m super excited to be going to the Eurogamer Expo this year and I hope to write several posts about my time there!
