Google Are Set to Reveal All in a Weeks Time!

Google Are Set to Reveal All in a Weeks Time!October 29th will be the day Google reveals all and by all I mean a 32GB / 3G Nexus 7, Android 4.2, the LG Nexus, and a 10-inch Nexus Tablet.

We have already touched upon the LG Nexus and a possible Android 4.2 reveal, but it’s now become (sort-of) official. The Next Web have “A source with knowledge of Google’s plans” that has apparently revealed everything that’ll be presented at the Google event at the end of the month. So what’s in store?

Well, we’ve got “Confirming leaks from various inventory systems and advertisements in both the US and the UK,” in regards to a 32GB Nexus 7 as well as a HSPA+ variant of the 7-inch tablet (that’ll also be a 32GB model).

Next we’ve got “Codename Manta”, the source told The Next Web that Google have been working with Korean manufacturer Samsung on a possible 10-inch tablet. It’s planned to run Android 4.2 a.k.a Key Lime Pie, as well as a generous 2560×1600 pixel (16:10) resolution screen set to display 300 ppi (pixels per inch). Hopefully if the rumours are true and this is the Nexus 10, I’m really hoping they do the same with this, that they did with the Nexus 7 and have it at a super affordable price! (fingers crossed eh?)

Finally we’ve got Android 4.2, The Next Web source revealed that Android 4.2 will come with ‘Tablet Sharing’ which will be a new feature that’ll introduce multiple accounts on one device giving users the ability to download their own apps and have their own emails. We’re unsure if this is going to be similar to Windows’ login screen for example or if 4.2 is purely for Tablets like 3.0 but hopefully it’ll be more of a front-end thing rather than having two versions of the same thing for different accounts. Panoramic settings are due to be updated to support both horizontal and vertical movement by default competing directly with iOS 6.

Most of the LG Nexus specs have been confirmed too which you can read about here in our earlier post.
