It’s been only a few weeks since the sixth instalment of the legendary zombie survival horror Resident Evil 6 has been released but Capcom have already announced a new update that’ll be coming to both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 around mid-December.

The update is in a response to player feedback and will include the following updates:

  • Subtitle options have been improved so that English language audio can be combined with subtitles in an alternative language.
  • As recently announced, Ada Wong’s campaign will be unlocked from the start and have an optional player-controlled co-op partner added. It was previously necessary to complete all three other campaigns in order to unlock Ada’s story.
  • ‘No Hope’ difficulty level will be added above the existing levels, for players who want an extreme challenge.

Hopefully those of you who were a bit let down by the initial release will be giving this game a second chance as soon as the new update rolls out!
