Nexus 7

nexusIn today’s tablet market it can be hard to find the right one for that special someone this holiday season.

That said, you are not without hope with finding the right one as we have just the perfect suggestion. The Google Nexus 7 tablet!

With tablets ranging in size, power and cost it’s easy to understand why we would choose this little beauty. The Nexus 7 is a compact tablet model which, as the name suggests, is a 7inch model which is perfect. The size allows it to fit comfortably in one hand and is just right for watching HD movies and playing games, thanks to the power and performance that is packed into this tablet. Now that is just the surface as to why this tablet is a good buy this holiday season. Let’s take a bit more of a closer look, shall we.

With the base model of the Nexus 7 starting at £159 for 16GB of storage, you have to find a good reason not to pick it up. Most would say it’s an ‘entry level’ tablet but that could be said otherwise. The Nexus 7 is more than able to handle any task you throw at it from reading books, playing HD games to streaming your favourite music. It’s more than capable. The thin and light design make it portable and easy to store with a stunning 10 hours of battery life. It’s light, quick and ready to go with a strong and steady design. It’s one of the best looking, and performing, 7inch tablets on the market right now. You should also note that it’s running the latest version of Android ensuring you get the very best out of it and a full Google experience.

I could carry on with the all the details of the tablet but would be boring. Rather, I’ll finish with my own reasons as to why this tablet makes a great gift. For a start, it’s one of the cheapest on the market and doesn’t cut in quality. The overall build of the Nexus 7 stands above that of some of it’s higher priced competitors. Battery and performance are also a key note yet again, out performing its competitors. My personal reason however as to why the Nexus 7 is a great gift is that it’s fun and easy to use and just works. In the months I’ve had my own Nexus 7, I’ve not had a single problem and with the great range of apps on Google Play, there are many ways to enjoy the experience.

I personally can’t recommend the Nexus 7 tablet highly enough. It’s one of the best on the market and with such a stunning starting price, it makes more the reason to pick it up this holiday.

Remember, a Google gift is always the best!
