Yes that’s right, I’m here to give you some news on Assassin’s Creed 3. This time in the form of multiplayer. As you all know I love Assassin’s Creed, and I love the multiplayer too. The Assassin’s Creed franchise is no stranger to DLC and since Brotherhood was released in 2010 there has been multiplayer DLC released too. Last year Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed 3 would be getting a Season Pass, with certain DLC being free or with earlier access.
The Battle Hardened Pack has been released on XBOX 360 now with the PS3 (It’s available in the US now) following soon today and will cost you 800 Microsoft Points (£6.45 or $10) and $9.99 or £7.99 in the PlayStation Store. If you’re a PC gamer don’t despair as always you’ll have to wait a little longer, January 15th and again it will be £7.99/$9.99. If you were clever enough to buy the Season Pass then its free! But be careful, don’t download the item from the Marketplace or Store as you’ll be charged for it. It has also been said by Ubisoft that the WiiU will have the DLC follow soon.
The DLC will feature 3 new characters – The Governor, and influential and powerful man. The Highlander, a kilt wearing brute and The Coyote Man, a fierce opponent. 3 new maps – Charlestown, Saint Pierre and Fort St-Mathieu. There will also be some customization items as well as 4 new Multiplayer based achievements/trophies. As I said the pack is available now and is a stop gap to the much anticipated ‘The Tyranny Of King Washington’ the three part single player missions are getting their final touches and will hopefully be released soon.
Keep checking back for more Assassin’s Creed news and let me know your thoughts on the new DLC below in the comments.
