Mew-Genics Update! - n3rdabl3

So where did we last leave our Mew-Genics news? Ah yes, the gradual release of character art. So to sum it up, we’ve got Dr. Beanies, a sort of mad scientist looking character. Mr. Tinkles, a rather flamboyant gentleman. Frank, he looks like a sort of Igor like character with a small egg-like growth.. There’s also cat lady Tracy, and Butch a shady looking criminal-type character.. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the fact that Mew-Genics will feature over 12,207,031,250,000,000,000,000 cats. Yeah… there’s also the mention of breeding, so perhaps the game centres around creating and breeding cats.. Surely not?

Next on the big reveal is the title theme!!

According to the Team Meat Blog “So we really splurged with the soundtrack for Mew-genics, the game will feature a full album of over 20 studio recorded songs, with more than half of them with lyrics!”. I love cats.. and it looks like this game really is full of ’em.

Next we’ve got a game play feature aptly named the Trinket Display Case! This is where all of your in game items that you’ll collect will appear, each item has it’s own “semi randomly” generated special property that can be utilised during the game. Currently there are 105 Trinket types in the game.

Mew-genics will be released on multiple platforms including iOS.

Another aspect of the game appears to be kitty beauty pageants, or more specifically Mr. Tinkles annual Boon county cat pageant.

Finally we’ve got the latest update which is about the Cryo-Cube 5000, a cube where you can instantly freeze your kitty so you can keep the adorable little fella encased in ice forever!

That’s it for Mew-Genics updates, from the looks of it, it is going to be a cat breeding simulation app/game but with an obvious Team Meat twist so you can expect inbred cats with deformities and mutations – lovely! Be sure to keep an eye over at Team Meats blog for the latest in Mew-Genics news!
