That’s all from me this evening. Check back tomorrow where I’ll write up a more detailed post on the Destiny reveal!

No news of a PC version, but that might be a good thing. Those of us who play Xbox and PS3 are in need of a good long-lasting FPS that could last for up to 10 years!

Destiny contains an “always connected” universe that’s constantly changing. Could a game like this survive for 10 years? Let us know in the comments bellow!

Bungie COO Peter Parsons “refers to [Destiny] as a first-person shooter with a heavy emphasis on co-op that makes use of social media and mobile technology.”

The three other websites (Amazon, Sainsbury’s & GAME) don’t actually have the Destiny pre-order page live yet! Well done Tesco!

18:08 is now live and you can pre-order the game for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3! According to the Tesco pre-order page the game has a release date of 31/12/13..

Could the game last as long as 10 years? Is this going to be an action game that lives? It sounds pretty incredible!

It looks as if you play as a “guardian of the city” that has been built underneath “The Traveller” a strange planet shaped space craft that protects you. You also harbour some of The Travellers “incredible power” and your objective is to protect the city below the orb.

The video displays some pretty breathtaking locations! –

The Destiny The Game YouTube channel has one video on it – this one.

@Bungie have just tweeted “This is our #Destiny” That links to the Destiny The Game YouTube channel. Heavy traffic seems to be causing the page to be slow.. :(

Nikholai says that if Destiny turns out to be an MMO he’s “lost all hope in the games industry”. Should I slap him? Haha.

So what is Destiny? Bungie have kept that part tight under wraps, we know it’s based in space, and we know that there’s a planet of some sort of “massive, mysterious alien ship hangs overhead like a second Moon. No one knows where it came from or what it’s here for, but only that it’s our protector.” (according to the earlier leak from an advertising agency.
