Samsung Galaxy note N7000

galaxy noteAccording to Tech Radar and SamMobile Samsung has finally begun to roll out the eagerly awaited Jelly Bean 4.1 update to Samsungs 5.3 inch Phablet the Galaxy Note.

Samsung has made the 4.1 update immediately available and the current countries who have the update are Germany, Hong Kong, and Taiwan according to the firmware page on SamMobile. Those of us in the UK and other territories have to wait however due to carrier input so who knows when we’ll finally get the firmware.

The 4.1 update brings a whole new features bundled in a Premium Suite. Along with Google Now and Project Buter, we’ll also have a Multi Window and Page Buddy features. The Multi Window feature will give us the ability to use two apps simultaneously without the need to switch screens.

The Page Buddy feature is similar to what’s available on the Galaxy Note 2, in that a window will launch whenever headphones are plugged in or the S-Pen is taken out of it’s discreet holder.

Keep a close eye here on n3rdabl3 because as soon as I’ve received the update, I’ll let you all know too!

For those interested, here’s a few screenshots from the German XXLSZ build.
