So Riot heard you like League of Legends. Well now you can have League of Legends on your Mac with the announcement of the open beta for Mac.
League of Legends is one of the largest multiplayer games on the market, with it’s free-to-play model and strong competitive gameplay it’s grown into one of the most popular eSports. With hundreds of thousands of views, and prizes as high as millions of dollars it’s safe to say that League of Legends is a successful game and with the news of a Mac release it sure to only grow.

The Mac client does everything that the PC client does, meaning you’ll get all future features, bug fixes and new content on the same schedule as PC players, but on your native OS. The Cross-Platform team will also continue working diligently to smash any Mac bugs that surface during the open beta.”
The open beta is ready for download right now for existing players and new players only need to make an account to get in on the action. To go along with this release the developers released a video with some nice jokes for fans (above).
