Berlin based 6Wunderkinder continue to take Wunderlist, their to-do list product, a step further with the release of ‘Add to Wunderlist’. The arrival of this exciting new features means that Wunderlist becomes even more than just a to-do list application. It’s small additions like this that really allow Wunderlist to stand out from the rest.

‘Add to Wunderlist’ is a button based browser extension for Chrome, Firefox and Safari and offers support for a range of popular websites. This means the ‘Add to Wunderlist’ button will show on sites such as Amazon, Ebay, Etsy, Twitter, Wikipedia, Youtube and much more with additional support for Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo! Mail. This means that users can add content directly into their lists within Wunderlist and build more varied lists be them to-do or not.

“The line between managing your professional and personal productivity is becoming increasingly blurred. Our goal with Wunderlist is to deliver a solid tool that supports both, whether it be turning an email into a task for quick easy actioning or sharing your favorite movies list with friends. Today, with the arrival of Add to Wunderlist we not only support you in managing your daily to-dos but we also provide you with one central location where you can save and curate web content that is important to you, no matter what it is relating to.”
– Christian Reber, 6Wunderkinder Founder and CEO.

The browser extension will allow for a visual button to be placed directly onto some websites. Once clicked, Wunderlist will pull up the most important information including URL, price, description, etc and then allow you to add it to your list. All of this is of course completely customizable. The same is applied to emails and thanks to the sharing functions of Wunderlist, you can share important information and tasks right to others without the need to send more emails. It’s all done seamlessly within the browser and the ‘Add to Wunderlist’ button.

This is a great step forward for Wunderlist and I can wait to see what comes next with continued updates and support. ‘Add to Wunderlist’ is also completely open sourced meaning it can be added to your own website. Get started now with the new extension by downloading it for Chrome, Safari or Firefox.
