Recent news has revealed that UK Retailer Tesco had accidentally listed Call of Duty: Ghosts ahead of time. The listing included the box-art shown here as well as an aledged release date of December 30th.
From the recent leak by YouTuber drift0r we knew that it’d be called Call of Duty: Ghosts and that there was also a rumour that Infinity Ward would be back on the scene for this instalment. If this boxart and listing is anything to go by drift0r may be correct.
The Tesco listing stated that Call of Duty: Ghosts will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. There was also a slip up thanks to the US retailer Target which stated gamers could get $10 off of Call of Duty: Ghosts if you trade in a choice of four games. This listing however had a release date of November 5th – a date which seems more fitting.
The listing located here has since been taken down, and Joystiq have reached out to Activision for a comment.
