I’ve been keeping an eye on the Mighty Boom Ball since mentioning it in our Advent Calendar event over Christmas & hosting our give away. But I didn’t expect something like this to come out of the woodwork!
Today, the world’s smallest; most expensive vibration speaker has been released for sale with a price tag of £142,013. From the makers of the Mighty Boom Ball, the special edition audio gadget is cast in 19 karat white gold and, despite being smaller than a golf ball, encrusted with 509 premium quality diamonds.
Joining the exquisite speaker are two other limited edition Mighty Boom Balls, also released for sale today. One cast in 18 carat gold is priced at £14,200 and one cast in silver is £2,013.
Using vibration technology the pocket-size speakers turn everyday items into sound systems and although these limited edition speakers are heavier than their counterparts, they’re still light enough to carry around and take anywhere.
All of the vibration speakers in the Mighty Boom Ball range connect to devices via the universal headphone socket, making them compatible with MP3 players, smartphones, laptops, iPads, iPods and any other music-playing device with a headphone socket. And for those on a more affordable budget the standard products in the range sell for a more modest £14.99.
