For those of you who love the Walking Dead (and who doesn’t) news of the release of Telltale’s winner of game of the year can only come as a welcome thing.

Previously released in digital downloadable episodes via the PSN and Xbox Live, all five of the critically acclaimed episodes from the game’s first season can now be had on one disc from various U.K retailers. The title, which picked up Game of the Year honours from the likes of USA Today and Metacritic will be available from the usual gaming outlets, as well as supermarkets Asda and Sainsbury’s, among others.

Set in the world of Robert Kirkman’s award winning comic book series, which went on to spawn the hit AMC show of the same name, ‘The Walking Dead’ places you firmly in the now familiar arms of the  zombie apocalypse, along with plenty of old faces and some devised purely for the series.

The title is available now, for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.
