After EA’s onslaught towards development of games on the Wii U last week and how that apparently isn’t going to happen, EA’s CFO Blake Jorgensen has now confirmed that EA do have come games in development for “the Nintendo console”.
In a banking firm conference Q&A, Jorgensen admitted “You know, I think Nintendo’s business was more [an] extension of their last console, We are building titles for the Nintendo console, but not anywhere near as many as we are for PS or Xbox,”
So I guess that’s something right? Though the Nintendo Wii U is actually as ‘next generation’ as the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 it seems that EA is taking more notice of the more hardcore consoles than the fun, family friendly, Wii U.
Currently no games from EA have been confirmed for the Wii U but more on that as it develops.
