Google+ Hangouts got a small update this week adding a new feature hidden under ‘Hangout Apps’ section. The new feature, a remote desktop feature, allows you to control the computer of someone having a Hangout and lets you troubleshoot anything that might be up. You can still chat at the same time which adds a nice touch. Of course there are a range of security permissions in place for this as well.
Using the same technology as the Chrome Remote Desktop, the Hangout Remote Desktop is a solid step forward. It’s a nice way for users to help friends and family and could even be used for business use as well.
Google+ Hangout remote desktop is available now.
