When the PlayStation 4 was officially announced Sony held a huge event which showed off the controller and a bunch of games. One game in particular got the ears of every Gran Turismo fan sticking up, but alas, it was only the trailer for DriveClub.
Okay, I made that sound like a bad thing, it wasn’t at all! DriveClub looks incredible, I was just trying to set the mood – please don’t hurt me.. Right, where was I.. Ah yes..
Those who are fans of Gran Turismo don’t have to be sad any more thanks to an invite for an event that Kazunori Yamauchi, the guy behind Gran Tursimo is hosting to “provide an update on the future of the Gran Turismo game…”.
There’s also been a funky trailer to celebrate 15 years of Gran Turismo which features gameplay from as early as Gran Turismo 1 which was released in Europe all the way back on the first ever PlayStation in 1998.
There is no confirmation anywhere whether this is going to be Gran Turismo 6 though earlier in the year soon after the PlayStation 4 event SCEE executive Michael Denny did say that Gran Tursimo 6 will be coming to the PlayStation 3 this year.
We only have a week to wait so be sure to check out http://www.gran-turismo.com/ on the 15th of May to find out exactly what the fuss it about!
