Shared storage copy

Shared storage copyIn order to create a more seamless experience amongst their products, Google has announced it will soon implement a shared storage system for Gmail, Drive, and Google+ photos.

For users who utilize little of their Gmail storage, but rely heavily on Drive and G+ storage allotments, this is welcome news. However, this also brings good news for those who need a heftier storage option for their Gmail accounts—you will no longer be limited to a 25 GB maximum upgrade, and since your storage is shared across all three services tied to your account, you’re free to divvy it up however you see fit.

All accounts come with an initial free 15 GB storage, and may upgrade if they choose to 100 GB for $4.99 (USD) per month or a whopping 500 GB for $9.99 (USD) per month.

Users can expect these changes to take effect sometime in the next couple weeks.
