Tami Reller, chief financial officer of Microsoft Windows division had this to say to CNN this week – “You shouldn’t expect an iTunes app on Windows 8 any time soon, iTunes is in high demand. The welcome mat has been laid out. It’s not for lack of trying.”
If you’re running Windows 8 you can still access iTunes but you will have to put your computer into ‘desktop mode’, Apples main problem seems to be that allowing Windows 8 to run iTunes would mean the app being touch screen friendly.
If you were hoping to be able to use iTunes with Windows 8 any time soon, I wouldn’t hold your breath.
