nokia-lumia-62-white-pressToday at their London event Nokia made the announcement to show it’s latest flagship phone the Nokia Lumia 925 which has it’s sights set on a world wide release.

This time round the Lumia 925 will be rocking an aluminium frame over the polycarbonate that other models use. The device is still running Windows Phone 8 though, it’s a small change that makes a big difference.

First thing to note is that the Lumia 925 will be thinner and lighter yet still packing a punch, though it’s still the same hardware as the Lumia 920. A dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 1GB RAM and a 8.7-megapixel camera. The Lumia 925 is only 8.8mm in profile, with a 2,000mAh battery. Wireless charging isn’t here this time around though and additional covers will need to be purchased to enable the feature. The aluminum body is also supported with a stunning 4.5 inch AMOLED screen with a 1280 x 768 resolution.

The Nokia Lumia 925 is still to release in Europe and China next month with a price tag of 469 euros. More details soon.
