It’s almost becoming a common occurrence for us to have a smartphone and a tablet in the house and more times than not you’ve got the same game on both devices. Isn’t it a pain when you’d simply prefer to continue your game on your tablet rather than your phone but the game just doesn’t do that? Well Rovio have helped solve that problem by introducing accounts into all of their games.
Rovio announced on their blog yesterday that they’re planning on introducing Rovio Accounts into their games like The Croods and Angry Birds. It’s currently available in the Croods game and on Angry Birds for iOS in Finland and Poland but it’s rolling out worldwide. What this does is allow you to continue your game on a different device, whether it’s from an Android phone to an iPad, or an iPhone to a Nexus 7 your Rovio Account will be able to sync the progress.
With several different Angry Birds games it’s finally possible to play them all on various devices and not lose your progress, even if you buy a new phone your Angry Birds will still be there once you’re all set up!
