“We have no games in development for the Wii U currently,” Jeff Brown, company spokesperson told Kotaku.
This follows on from the news earlier this month form DICE that the Frostbite 3 engine won’t be ported to Wii U. You might remember that back in 2011 A make a promise to support the Wii U and though they did with a few launch titles, that promise now seems to be gone. Kotaku claim that Brown said that the company isn’t ruling out developing for the Wii U all together. Just that at the current moment nothing is in the works.
Should Wii U owners be worried? I don’t think so. After all E3 is nearly here and Nintendo have a history of surprising us.
