Announced last week the OUYA stand at E3 won’t be located where you’d expect. You also don’t need a ticket in order to check out the Android based console, that’s because the booth will be located outside the convention center.
The OUYA will be playable from Tuesday, June 11 to Thursday, June 13, and will be located directly across from the convention center’s South Hall – in the car park. The booth will include everything for developers do demo their games to the public including the console itself and a TV to play it on. For those of you wanting to get hands on don’t need E3 credentials either.
Much like the console itself, the team want the OUYA to be available to everyone, that’s probably why they’ve decided to demonstrate the OUYA amongst the general public for the general public. Kudos, OUYA!
The tiny Android console’s launch date has been pushed back slightly from Junne 4 to June 25th but early adopters and developers have already got their hands on a version of the device.
