Deux Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut Coming to Additional Platforms

Developer Square Enix announced today that the definitive, Director’s Cut of DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION is launching on Nintendo’s Wii U system, Microsoft’s Xbox 360, the PlayStation3 and Windows PC, and Mac later this year. Stéphane D’Astous, General Manager of Eidos-Montréal had this to say:

DEHR Fight
The Director’s Cut – Featuring more ass kicking with big sticks.

“After our Director’s Cut announcement we received an overwhelming response from the community asking us to bring this ultimate edition of HUMAN REVOLUTION to other platforms. We’re thrilled to accommodate that request. We can now say with pleasure, ‘You asked for this!’”

Which sounds a little ominous to me, but will surely please fans of the franchise. The Director’s Cut also offers a full slate of second screen features for the Wii U GamePad, Microsoft’s SmartGlass, and the PlayStation Vita system that make the touchscreen interface protagonist Adam Jensen’s primary neural hub enhancement.

We’re told that this edition will include overhauled boss fights, refined game balance and combat, improved AI, over 8 hours of developer commentary, and ‘striking visual improvements’.
