Angry Birds Trilogy was first released on the Xbox 360 for the Kinect, the Nintendo 3DS, and the PlayStation 3 for the Move controllers and has sold over 1.7 million copies world wide. Now Angry Birds Trilogy will be making it’s way to the Wii and Wii U on August 16th featuring over 40 hours of exclusive gameplay, with 165 fan-favourite holiday and seasonally themed levels on-disc.
Angry Birds Trilogy features the original Angry Birds title along with Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio and for the first time these three titles will be coming to the two Nintendo systems.
The Wii U version will also contain the ability to play the game on the big screen or bring it down to play only on the GamePad with TV/ Wii U GamePad swap capability. Much like with the mobile version of the game gamers can expect to use the Wii U GamePad touch screen controls to fling your bird with accuracy, and finally the Wii U version will contain an online leaderboards for taking on the world’s high scores.
Angry Birds Trilogy is scheduled for release on the Wii and Wii U on August 16th, it’s available right now for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo 3DS.
