Today is the day that Huawei announce something ‘beautiful’ according to the invites sent out earlier last month. What they’ve revealed is the Huawei Ascend P6, the same P6 that evleaks also let out of the bag last month.
The Huawei Ascend p6 is a super thin 4.7-inch LCD handset that measures at a super skinny 6.18 mm. Huawei have a habit of making super thin handsets, the Huawei Ascend P1 that I reviewed earlier this year was considerably thinner than half of the phones available now. Under the hood the Ascend P6 comes with a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM. On the outside sports a 8-megapixel camera at f/2.0 aperture for you photo buffs – great for low light situations. There’s also a whopping 5-megapixel camera around front.
It comes in three colours; black, white and pink, with matching cases. It’s expected to roll out this month in China and in Western Europe throughout July. In terms of networks there’s a buttload: It’ll be available from Vodafone, Telefonica, Orange, H3G, O2, Carphone Warehouse, TalkTalk, Media Markt & Saturn, TIM and online.
