We all know Nintendo aren’t going to make the usual song and dance they normally do at E3 which is a shame. But they do have a lot of things planned for around E3 some of which could actually benefit them more than the show itself.
Nintendo have launched their website for E3 which is said to be the home of everything Nintendo during the week surrounding E3. It’s also going to be the home of the big pre-E3 Nintendo Direct broadcast which is set to reveal some exciting news about certain Wii U titles such as Smash Bros., 3D Mario game, and Mario Kart on June 11.
Nintendo announced a few weeks ago that they won’t be putting on the usual big show that Nintendo have been famous for doing at the E3 event, instead they’ll be doing a few Nintendo Direct broadcasts to talk about their latest titles, as well as releasing information about certain titles over the course of next week.
There was also talk about Nintendo being in cahoots with Best Buy who’ll be demoing the Wii U during E3. The website has actually confirmed this and much more: “Game demos aren’t just for E3 VIPs. You’ll be able to try out four unreleased Wii U games, exclusively at participating Best Buy locations. Stay tuned for details.”
I’d definitely keep an eye on http://e3.nintendo.com/ for which games you’ll be able to play at participating Best Buy stores.
