RaymanLegendsIn an interview with GamesBeat, Unisoft CEO Yves Guillemot revealed that one of the reasons for the upcoming Wii U title Rayman Legends being postponed was because it was thought that there may not have been enough consoles to sell as many copies of the game as possible.

During the interview, Guillemot stated “We didn’t want those creators to wind up in a position where even after making a fantastic game, they didn’t sell well enough.” Guillemot continued to say that they felt it would be better to spend more time to both improve the Wii U version of the game and also create versions for other consoles, such that players could try the game on “any [console] that they have”. He then added that he thought he made the right decision, both for his team and for gamers, and that “the experience is much more complete”

Rayman Legends is set to release this Autumn on PlayStation 3, PS Vita, Xbox 360 and Wii U.
