Xiaomi’s soon to be released Mi3, or MIUI Phone 3 as I like to call it has recently had it’s benchmark leaked at GFXBench which blows both the Galaxy S IV and the HTC One out of the water coming a close third to the HP Slatebook 10 X2 and the NVidia Shield. This particular test is a 3D graphics benchmark which compares performance of phone and tablet GPU’s.
This particular test saw the Xiaomi Mi3 running an Nvidia Tegra 4 processor which is clocked at 1.8Ghz, along with a 1920 x 1080 (HD) display and is running the latest version of Android JellyBean, 4.2.2.
Coming in as the most powerful phone on the list it comes as no surprise considering it’s got the NVidia Tegra 4 on board which is (I believe) the fastest phone GPU available right now until the Snapdragon 800 shows it’s face as a possible contender.
As amazing as all this sounds, and I bet you’re itching to get your hands on one (just like I am) well, the unfortunate thing is that the Xiaomi phones are usually only sold in China. It looks like we may have to wait a little longer until the NVidia Tegra 4 is adopted by more smartphone manufacturers.
