Gameforge’s free-to-play MMO RaiderZ Europe gets canned.

It’s hardly been a year since Gameforge officially announced that RaiderZ, a free-to-play monster hunting MMO, had launched in Europe and sadly but unsurprisingly they’re pulling the plug on the European version of the game.

Gameforge have recently pulled the plug in the European version of the game for several reasons, with one of the main being that “The success of RaiderZ did not meet our expectations and as we saw no other potential alternatives to the discontinuation of the services, unfortunately we were left with no other alternative than to take this step.”

In response to the statement some fans pointed to the lack of updates and support for the MMO had something to do with the games poor interest.

You’ve currently only got until tomorrow to play the game because on August 30th Gameforge will be pulling the plug for good. Those that do enjoy playing the game will sadly have to find another publisher (Perfect World) and in turn will have to start the game from scratch, something I assume the more hardcore RaiderZ players won’t be too pleased about.
