Nintendo have just released a software update for the Wii U but it’s not the one everyone has been waiting for (the one that is supposed to fix it’s laggy performance), that little gem has been pushed back to September/October.
“This system update includes minor support enhancements, bug fixes and other adjustments to enhance the user experience. The larger system update previously mentioned by Mr. Iwata that provides further additions to system functionality is planned for release between the end of September and beginning of October.”
For those that own a Wii U and want a quicker console, well this update won’t do that. This update enables the console to check for system and software updates and make receive those updates while it’s powered down, also included are improvements to system stability and usability but these improvements are unspecified.
So Mr. Iwata gave you a gift, it’s not what you want but it’s still something right? No, you wanted a bike but instead found a scooter under the tree and spent the rest of the day crying in your room, well that’s just ungrateful!
