steam saleToday saw the introduction of even more sales for our wallets to empty money on to, and continuing our coverage of the sales here at n3rdabl3, I’ll reel off my top 5 bargains offered by Valve on the second day of the sales we know and love.

ftl sale

1. FTL- FTL is a very difficult but very rewarding game, and at a 75% discount you really can’t go wrong. I’ve got 24 hours game time, and in that I’ve only managed to beat the game on easy mode TWICE. Only the best can beat the Rebel Mothership, and for the minuscule  price of £1.74, do you think you’ve got what it takes? Read our review here.

2. Far Cry 3- This game was voted to be discounted by the community yesterday on the community choice, and this is an FPS that is revered across the platforms. I don’t know ANYONE who wasn’t happy with the game, and having completed it personally, I can tell you that this story of insanity, revenge, drugs and lots of violence is one that, for just £11.99, shouldn’t be missed. Read our review here.

chivalry sale3. Chivalry: Medieval Warfare- For just 1/4 of the original price, you can get one of the most violent and hilarious games available across the entirety of Steam. Whether your weapon of choice is sword, axe, bow, dagger or even flail, there’s tactics, game modes and decapitation for all who enter the battlefield. At just £4.74, there’s hours and bloody massacring for everyone. Read our review here.

sgw sale

4. Sniper Ghost Warrior 2- Now I haven’t personally haven’t played this game, but with a HUGE discount of 85% off, there’s clearly some curiosity to be had with the game. All I do know is that this game is similar to Sniper Elite, but with a more modern day setting, and Sniper Elite is quite a bit of fun. At simply £3.74 from £24.99, this is probably the best price you’ll ever be able to get, so make sure to jump on it and make use of it. Read our review here.

5. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2- Not that I’m a particularly huge fan of Call of Duty, having one offered to use for half price is a pretty good deal, because Call of Duty games don’t decrease in price all that much. Since BLOPS 2 is available for £19.99, now is the time to get it because again it’s likely that this is the cheapest we’ll see the game for a long time. Read our review here.

Be sure to vote for the next community choice game on offer, which includes Total War Shogun 2, Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition and Sleeping Dogs, your vote may make your favourite game available at a decreased price. Check back tomorrow where we’ll see 5 more excellent bargains from a new batch of goodies.
