nexus 4 -2

nexus 4 -2The Google Nexus 4 is an absolutely fantastic little device, I’m in love with mine, and for the price it’s a bargain – wait, what.. Google have lowered the price? Are you kidding me?

Yeah, that’s right. Google have now lowered the price of the 8GB Nexus 4 from £239 to £159, and the 16GB Nexus 4 from £279 to £199 That’s an £80 price reduction. You can now grab Google’s fantastic flagship device which is home to a 4.7″ 1280×768 resolution (320ppi) screen, A Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 under the hood with 2GB RAM and a 2,100 mAh Lithium polymer battery. What’s even better is that it runs Vanilla Android which means whenever Google throws out a new Android update, you’ll be the first to get it!

If you were unfortunate enough to purchase the Nexus 4 before the price reduction you can actually apply for an £80 refund providing you purchased your Nexus 4 handset within 15 days before the said price reduction thanks to Google’s Price Protection for Devices on Google Play.

So far there’s no real reason for the reduction in price, though the Nexus 4 range is due for a refresh. We have just recently recieved the new Nexus 7 here in the UK, so is it time for a new Nexus 4? Perhaps with LTE capabilities? We’ll have to wait and see!
