Grand Theft Auto Online takes the “fundamental GTA concepts of freedom, ambient activity and mission-based gameplay” and makes them available to us all in what’s been described as “an incredibly detailed and responsive online world.”.
Jesus Christ this game looks incredible. Rockstar Games released the above video on their Facebook page today which shows you some of the basic gameplay which will be available to everyone in Grand Theft Auto V’s online multiplayer mode, or Grand Theft Auto Online as they’ve titled it.
Not only does this portion of the game include everything we know and love from previous online modes, it also includes all of the “ambient activities” that we’ll experience in the single player game. Not only can you take part in street races, you can race planes, jet skis, and ATV’s. There’s also the option to play menial activities like golf and tennis.
The Online mode also features character customisation using the money you earn in game from robbing banks, liquor stores, or even armoured vehicles through the various online mission available from NPC’s.
Grand Theft Auto V is coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 17.
