Metro-Last-Light-2According to NeoGAF user gngf123 a recent update to Metro: Last Light on the Steam Database hints that the post-apocalyptic horror shooter may be making it’s way to Linux.

The game initially launched on May 17th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC but a Linux version of Metro: Last Light was always on the table. In a reddit AMA last week, Deep Silver creative director Guido Eickmeyer said that “there is a good chance” that there will be Linux releases of the publishers current and future games, but he didn’t mention any specific title.

Steam made it’s way to Linux in May of this year and has since been collecting a large library of Linux compatible games which some suggest may be the operating system of choice for Valves heavily rumoured ‘Steambox’ console.

Deep Silver are yet to confirm whether Metro: Last Light will be coming to Linux, more on this as, when, or if it develops!
