Payday 2 is the sequel to the download exclusive, critically acclaimed Payday The Heist, a co-operative organised crime game with the primary objective usually being to steal a certain high valued item or a large sum of money. The missions usually involve massive scale battles between you and the police.
In the latest video from Overkill, game director David Goldfarb talks us through the Safehouse, a place where the cops won’t shoot at you when you’re inside as well as a training zone so you don’t make rookie mistakes in the field. The Safehouse also includes a sort of mantelpiece where you can display your riches in physical form instead of just a number. I mean, c’mon! Who doesn’t want to stare at piles and piles of cash all day?
Payday 2 is scheduled for release at the end of August on Steam, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. While you’re here don’t forget to check out the screens below!
