It probably goes without saying that both the Galaxy Note 3 and the Sony Xperia Z1 haven’t even been announced yet, though rumours suggest both devices are expected to be revealed on or around IFA next week, and already there’s rumours suggesting that the UK will be released around the 16th of September.
According to an anonymous tipster who shared images of Three UK’s inventory, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be available from the network on September 16th, whilst Sony’s new flagship device will come around a week later on September 24th. If this tip is accurate it’s safe to presume that other major UK networks such as EE, Vodaphone, and O2 will be launching the devices around those dates too.
Both Samsung and Sony haven’t been too secretive about their next devices with Samsung practically giving away the fact that the Note 3 will be unveiled at their Samsung Unpacked event on September 4. Sony have been a tad more coy about the release of their next device, but rumour has it that they’ll be revealing the device behind the codename ‘Honami’ around the same time.
As always, take this information with a pinch of salt, more often than not inventory listings are mostly place holders for devices before their official confirmed release dates.
More on this as it develops.
