Square Enix welcomes Final Fantasy XIV videos. Finally.Good news for those of you who have been wanting to see fan-made video of Final Fantasy XIV. Square Enix have lifted it’s ban on YouTube videos.

Final Fantasy 14 will releases some time back and, due to the poor take up of the game Square Enix set out to block monetized gameplay videos. Now however, following the re-release dubbed Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn. Square Enix have confirmed that the ban is lifted.

“We want players out telling the world how great our game is.” Naoki Yoshida told Destructoid.

So far the re-release has had a shaky start with login issues, but as a whole as done okay for Square Enix. Releasing on last month on PC and PS3 with a PS4 release set for 2014 that will allow data transfer from PS3. Only time will tell however if Square Enix have done enough with this re-release to ensure a profit.
