Apple sent out a rather colourful invite to press earlier this week that’ll “brighten everyone’s day”. The colourful invite could more or less confirm the rumours of a cheaper, brighter coloured iPhone which is rumoured to be named the iPhone 5C.
The event will take place in Cupertino at Apple’s campus on September 10th starting at 10AM PT (6PM UK Time). As per usual the event won’t be live streamed but various publications including The Verge will have a minute-by-minute account of what’s happening.
Rumours point towards Apple revealing two new phones this year, the more cheaper and colourful iPhone 5C which is expected to be housed in a bright but plastic unibody. The iPhone 5S is also rumoured to be revealed too but this time there are rumours pointing to around four different colour varieties including Black, White, Champagne, and Graphite.
The iPhone 5S is set to come with some sort of finger-print scanning device as well as a dual LED flash. The iPhone 5C is expected to come in various colour options such as Yellow, Green, Orange, and White to name a few.
As with any mobile event from Apple we can probably expect something more on the iPad front whether it’s a new iPad Mini or a new generation of iPad itself.
Finally Apple are suspected to finally unveil the finished iOS 7 which they’ve been working on since their announcement earlier this year. It’s the biggest change for iOS yet with a completely new UI and fancy app icons. With the rumoured iPhone 5S having certain new features I’m sure more will be revealed for the new OS.
