Two days from release the release of Monster Hunter 4 the game has sold over 1,715,060 in sales and still selling, however these charts are for physical sales only not e-shop downloads. The SKU sales are at 276,000, which is an impressive number despite the fact the 3DS has been the most sold hardware in Japan for over a year, the Wii U on the other hand is still struggling and almost certainly will continue to do so until we’ve seen some major releases.

Xbox 360 – 244 (201)

It’s unsurprising that the sales for Monster Hunter would be high, given its popularity, but for them to reach first in the top twenty is incredible. Combine that with the sales overseas and Capcoms sales are going to be through the roof with the Monster Hunter franchise.
