Assassin’s Creed fans who may have missed out on last years exclusive PS Vita title Assassin’s Creed III Liberation will be glad to know that a HD version is coming to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Players will get a chance to experience the life and times of Aveline de Grandpre, in a graphically improved game with more missions than the original PS Vita title. Aveline is an Assassin of French and African decent, who during the 18th Century resided in New Orleans. Equipped with the likes of a Blow-Pipe, which makes a return in Black Flag. As well as a sugar cane machete and Whip Aveline also makes use of disguises to assist her in missions in New Orleans.

Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD is the high-definition adaptation of the PS Vita game which starred Aveline de Grandpre in the leading role. Liberation HD will be arriving for the first time as a digital title on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Taking full advantage of its new hardware, Liberation HD introduces a complete graphical overhaul, re-mastered music and sound effects, a revamped gameplay experience, and new missions that dive deeper into Aveline’s story.

To me, Assassin’s Creed III Liberation HD is a great thing.  As a fan of Assassin’s Creed who was tempted more than once to purchase a Vita only for Liberation, it’s good to see it become available to us all. There has been no mention of price or release date for this digital only title but when we know more, so will you.

What do you think of Liberation going HD? Is it a good move by Ubisoft to offer it to all of the fans? Let me know in the comments below!
