When Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon surfaced we all though it was a joke. The whole VHS themed cyber warrior themed standalone title had absolutely nothing to do with Far Cry 3 and it seemed completely unbelievable that was until Ubisoft officially announced the game. Ubistoft have now revealed that Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon has exceeded one millions sales and that they’re mulling over releasing a boxed version of the title.
Speaking with GameInformer, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, revealed the milestone on what he called a “mini-AAA” title and said that “Maybe we’ll go retail at one point so we’ll be able to achieve a bit more,”.
It’s clear to see from the interview that Ubisoft have big plans for “smaller” titles like Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, and there’s even talk of a sequel for Blood Dragon but more on that as it develops.
