Microsoft announced earlier today that the launch of their next generation console the Xbox One will launch on November 22nd in 13 of their initial launch markets.
Earlier this week Microsoft announced that they have gone into full production with the Xbox One and that it’ll be bumping up the clock speed of it’s processor to 1.75Ghz as opposed to the 1.6Ghz which was featured in the development consoles. This also goes with the improved clock speed of the GPU inside the Xbox One which they bumped up a little more last month.
Finally Microsoft have also announced the release date of the console, something we all expected to happen at Gamescom last month but were left disappointed. Today however they updated the Xbox News Wire with the announcement that the console will launch on November 22nd in 13 of their 20 launch markets, this includes – Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, UK, and USA. Many more markets will follow in 2014.
So it looks like Microsoft have opted to jump right in the center of the PlayStation 4 launch which first becomes available in the United States on November 15 but a few days before the launch in Europe who will receiving the console on November 29th.
