Earlier this week Developer PopCap games announced in an interview that Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will be a multiplayer only experience joining the likes of Destiny and Titanfall.
Coming first to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, the popular tower defence spin-off Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is a third person shooter where players can play as both Plants or Zombies. Speaking with Shacknews Creative director Justin Wiebe revealed that the game will be a multiplayer only experience. The game for Xbox 360 and Xbox One will be priced at $29.99 and $39.99 respectively most likely due to the extra content that’ll be shipping with the Xbox One version.
Amidst the news that the game will be a multiplayer-only experience, Xbox uploaded a video onto their YouTube channel which highlights the four Zombie classes available to players in this game, the Soldier Zombie, Scientist, the Engineer and All-Star.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is scheduled to launch some time in Spring 2014 exclusively first on Xbox One and Xbox 360 with PC to follow.
