Apple has already unveiled the colourful iPhone 5C and the finger printy iPhone 5S, so what could Apple have under their sleeves for their October 22 event? Well according to the Press Invite they’ve “still have a lot to cover” with colourful Apple leaves raising up from the Apple logo. Presumably this event is going to focus on the iPad as well as more details on OS X Mavericks, MacBook Pros and possible the waste-paper-bin-like Mac Pro?

Obviously Apple hasn’t shed any light on what it’ll be revealing but rumours are recently pointing to a heavy focus on the iPad and the iPad Mini. Some seem to think that Apple will be shrinking down the iPad a little making it slimmer and narrower with a 9.7-inch display other rumours also state that the iPad Mini will get a 7.8-inch Retina display.

Both devices are rumoured to make the most of Apple’s new fingerprint tech as well as the new A7 64-bit processor, something that seems very likely. The main question everyone is asking is whether Apple will continue to add colour to the iPad or iPad Mini as they did with the iPhone 5C or whether they’re planning on announcing something new entirely.

October 22 is the date. As usual Apple won’t be streaming the event but websites like Engadget and The Verge will be live blogging so you can get all of the action there, or check back here after the event for all of the latest information!
