The iPad Mini is getting some nice new, shiny features this November. Following on from the iPhone 5S and iPad Air, the mini will be receiving the 64-bit Apple A7 chip for a boost in processing power. Finally it’ll also be getting a Retina display and a resolution of 2048×1536 has also been integrated to the 7.9 inch system, giving a clearer and more defined look in a choice of white and silver or black and grey.
Version prices will vary, with the WiFi option costing $399 or with added mobile data setting you back $529. For a 128GB memory upgrade, the Mini will cost $699 and $829 respectively. The previous 2012 iPad Mini will still be available for purchase at a cut price of $299 for those wishing to keep their budget to a minimum and acts as a great entry point to the tablet market.
Accessories have also been announced, from some colourful smart covers at $39 to protective ‘wraparound’ cases at $79.
There is no official date for release as yet, but Apple promises to have the new iPad Mini ready for the holiday period.
