According to Japanese broadcaster NHK there’s a new Pokémon title on the way which focuses on Pikachu. It also contains the creepiest facial recognition software which allows you to control Pikachu’s face with yours.

The teaser trailer which can be found here doesn’t reveal a lot, in fact it’s not a teaser trailer at all, more the result of trying to film something they weren’t allowed to. The clip is part of a larger documentary called The Professional which follows Tsunekazu Ishihara, the president and CEO of The Pokémon Company and offers a behind-the-scenes look at an upcoming title. According to the broadcaster the full broadcast of the show that the clip is taken from is scheduled to air on October 28.

During the video the announcer states that “This is the first time cameras have gotten in.” and gives a brief glimpse of the Pokémon Company’s staff looking stressed working on a “super secret game,” which is apparently a 3DS title.

creepachu“Would you like to give a nickname to the Pikachu?” “Yes.. Creepachu”.
