In the latest batch of rumours it’s being said that Google could unveil and launch the Nexus 5 as soon as next Tuesday, October 15. The date wasn’t just plucked out of the air though, at Google’s Launchpad event, a two-week long event where the company helps startups to develop their businesses, developers have been given the treat of Key Lime Pie and Kit Kat bars to feast on – two names that have been used for the next Android update.
As usual this is just a rumour, the event organisers at Google could just have a really sweet tooth and thought those two treats were appropriate for an event at Google.
Both the Nexus 5 and Google’s next version of Android (once named Key Lime Pie now named Kit Kat) have been churning through the rumour mill but Google have been tight lipped about it all – other than potentially showing off the Nexus 5 wayyy in advance and one technician ‘accidentally’ leaving the device in a bar.
With only a few days left to wait, we’ll find out for sure if Tuesday is the day we’ll finally get to see more of the Nexus 5!
