Google have still yet to announce the launch of the Nexus 5 but numerous sources speaking to numerous websites have pointed to an official announcement/launch at 11am Pacific, or 6pm for us Brits.
We pretty much know all there is to know about the Google Nexus 5. It’s set to be home to a full HD 5-inch (4.95inches to be more precise) screen with 445ppi, a massive 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM. It’ll also boast an 8 megapixel camera with optical image stabiliser and a 2 megapixel front facing camera. The device is set to measure 69.17mm (w), 137.84mm (h), 8.59mm (d). Google have also upped the flash memory to 16GB or 32GB worth of storage.
The announcement is also supposed to bring the new version of Android 4.4 a.k.a Kit Kat which is rumoured to support most devices and bring a new lease of life to older devices too.
Android Police say that the embargo is meant to lift at 11am, but have said that the listings on Google Play store could launch any time from now until then.
