Just stop already! The Nexus 5 appears once again, with the latest rumour pointing to an October 31st release date for Google’s next Nexus device. Do I have to remind you to grab your salt?
For the hundredth time another release date has been provided by an anonymous tipster, this time hinting at an October 31 release with Canada to get the device a few days later on November 7 or 8. Mobile Syrup, the latest to receive word from the tipster had very little information as to who the tipster was and how they know such information. Without sounding too pessimistic, it’s probably just another log in the Nexus 5 rumour fire.
Here’s everything we know so far, or at least, think we know:
The next Google handset will be the Nexus 5 and it’ll be manufactured by LG. It’ll come running the new version of Android, 4.4 or Kit Kat as it’s now known. Kit Kat will contain a few minor changes including a transparent navigation bar as well as notification area as well as new white icons. The Nexus 5 is expected to be home to a 4.96-inch 1080p IPS display, a Snapdragon 800 processor supported by 2GB of RAM, a 2300mAh battery, and it should be available in 16GB and 32GB variants. The device is rumoured to come in both black and white versions with the white either being a full-white body, or a white rear casing with black face.
It also looks as if the back cover may be removable offering the chance to replace the battery – this is my own speculation, not actual confirmed rumour – a little bit of hope is there too.
All in all we’ve seen all we’ve had to see here at n3rdabl3, we all want the Nexus 5 so stop teasing us and release the damn thing, are you reading this Google?! I’ve had enough of all the leaks!
